Neil Druckmann Reveals When Development on Naughty Dog's New Game Began
Neil Druckmann confirmed that Naughty Dog has been working on a new single-player game since 2020. This was reported by Kotaku and Reddit users referencing a recording of a game conference that was mysteriously removed from public access.
Druckmann shared no further details, but with nearly four years in development, updates might be coming soon. Recently, Sony released an ad that fans believe hints at a presentation for PlayStation's 30th anniversary.
Naughty Dog's last major project was The Last of Us: Part 2, which launched in the summer of 2020. The studio also invested heavily in an online game-as-a-service based on The Last of Us, but it had to be canceled.
HBO recently announced that the second season of The Last of Us series will begin airing in the spring. You can check out the latest teaser here.
