No Man's Sky Achieves «Very Positive» Reviews on Steam for the First Time
It seems the redemption arc of No Man's Sky has officially reached its conclusion. As Steam users have noted, the game's rating has hit 80% positive reviews for the first time. It took Hello Games eight years and a slew of free updates to achieve this milestone.
At launch, the space sandbox had only 34% positive reviews. The game faced heavy criticism for its dull gameplay and the absence of many promised features, including multiplayer.
Lead developer Sean Murray has already responded to the milestone, thanking fans for their support. «Holy shit you guys — it happened You have no idea what this means to us ,» he wrote on X.
Meanwhile, Hello Games is currently working on the fantasy survival game Light No Fire, which does not yet have a release date. You can check out its first trailer below.
