Players Boost S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's Steam Rating
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl launched to overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, initially boasting over 85% positive ratings. However, the game's score dipped to 78% within a few days. Following the release of several patches, the positive reviews have begun to climb again.
The number of reviews on Valve's platform has surpassed 50,000, with the overall rating rising to 82%. This positive trend is largely attributed to the patches released on November 29th and 30th, which improved the game's performance, optimization, and squashed hundreds of bugs.
On Metacritic, the PC version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl received a 7.9/10 user score, while the Xbox Series X/S version earned a 7.7/10. OpenCritic shows a much higher average user score of 90/100.
