A reference to The Witcher has been found in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
Gamers continue to uncover hidden Easter eggs in the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Recently, players discovered a fun reference to the acclaimed The Witcher RPG series within the shooter.
Several gamers have found a Wolf School medallion, one of the most iconic items in the Witcher universe (Geralt's, in fact), tucked away in the game. Judging by screenshots, the item is located on a table inside a building, though its precise location remains unknown.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is packed with other interesting Easter eggs, too. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card can be found at the SIRCAA faction base.
A map from DayZ hangs in the NTZ Malachite location.
An M701 rifle, a clear nod to Call of Duty, can be found on the roof of the Polesye Hotel in Pripyat.
And on the roof of the Azimuth station, there's a ledge you can leap from onto a haystack without taking damage — a playful reference to Assassin's Creed's famous leap of faith.
As a reminder, recent discoveries in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 have also included Gordon Freeman from Half-Life, a bonfire with a sword reminiscent of Dark Souls, and references to Back to the Future and Harry Potter.
