First Look at the Sequel to the Iconic Slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer

Columbia Pictures and Original Film are gearing up for a new slasher movie, I Know What You Did Last Summer, which will serve as a continuation of the original franchise. The first still has recently surfaced online.

It's reported that actors Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. will reprise their roles. The premiere is scheduled for July 18, 2025.

To recall, the original film I Know What You Did Last Summer was released in 1997, grossing a total of $125.3 million against a $17 million budget. The sequel was released a year later but didn't achieve the same success as the first installment.

Additionally, Scream 7, featuring the return of Sidney Prescott, is set to premiere in February 2026.
