Operation Athena, a Tactical Shooter in the Style of Rainbow Six, Launches in Steam Early Access

GRENARC LLC and MISSING GAME STUDIO have released a first-person shooter called Operation Athena in Steam Early Access. The game features both a single-player mode and an online co-op mode supporting up to 4 players.

In Operation Athena, players take on the role of an operative from an elite special forces unit combating global terrorism.

Key features highlighted by the developers include a detailed shooting system, advanced enemy AI, worldwide operations, and multiple classes to choose from: Team Leader (coordinates team actions), Medic (provides aid to wounded operatives), Support Gunner (carries extra ammunition for the team), and Breacher (armed with a shotgun and additional explosives).

Currently, the game offers modes such as Elimination (hunting terrorists), Hostage Rescue, and Bomb Threat. The developers plan to gradually add new content to the project.

Operation Athena is available for purchase on Steam for $25.
