Fan-Made Oblivion Remake Unveils New Screenshots
December 13, 2024, 12:15 AM
The team behind Skyblivion, the ambitious mod that's bringing The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion to the The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition engine, has released a fresh batch of screenshots. The latest images showcase a ship on the banks of the Panther River.
Skyblivion aims to be a complete recreation of Oblivion, porting all of the original game's content—locations, quests, characters, items, and creatures—to the newer engine. The developers are currently targeting a 2025 PC release, though a specific date remains unannounced.
Meanwhile, work continues on Skywind, a similar fan-made project that's bringing TES 3: Morrowind to Skyrim Special Edition. Unlike Skyblivion, Skywind doesn't currently have an estimated release date.
