Courteney Cox Returns as Gale Weathers in Scream 7

Courteney Cox will indeed appear in Scream 7, reprising her role as Gale Weathers. Interestingly, the actress previously stated that she wasn't ready to return to the franchise.

Reports indicate that before making her final decision, Courteney Cox awaited the final script for the seventh installment of Scream.

Additionally, Sidney Prescott will also make an appearance, once again portrayed by Neve Campbell. The film is directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the scripts for the first four films in the franchise.

The premiere is scheduled for February 27, 2026.
