Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio held a brief presentation for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, showcasing 13 minutes of gameplay and introducing players to its key innovations.

The combat system in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has undergone significant changes, shifting closer to a hack-and-slash style. Majima can now perform powerful combos and launch enemies into the air, while his second combat style allows him to wield a saber and pistol.

Battles won’t be confined to land — players can also fight at sea. You’ll have the opportunity to board enemy ships and upgrade your own vessel. The arsenal is impressively modern: alongside traditional falconets and carronades, you’ll find rocket launchers and laser cannons.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to release on February 28 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
