German Bionic launches Apogee Ultra exoskeleton for lifting and walking ease

At CES 2025, German Bionic unveiled its most advanced exoskeleton model to date, the Apogee Ultra. Designed to assist in lifting heavy loads and providing support during long walks, this model is ideal for industries requiring extensive physical labor. The Apogee Ultra provides remarkable lifting assistance, making weights of up to 80 pounds feel much lighter by reducing the strain on the user's lower back.

For example, lifting 36 kg (80 lbs) feels like only 4-5 kg (11 lbs), significantly reducing the physical burden of lifting heavy items. Additionally, the exoskeleton offers crucial support during extended walks, which is especially useful for workers moving between locations in large facilities. The technology behind the Apogee Ultra reduces fatigue, with a 10-mile journey feeling more like 8 miles.

What sets this exoskeleton apart is its adaptive nature. The system learns and adjusts to each user’s movement patterns over time, ensuring personalized assistance. It also tracks physical load data, giving both users and employers insights into performance and fatigue levels. The Apogee Ultra is not only suited for industrial tasks but can also benefit people with limited mobility or the elderly, offering support in daily activities.

The latest iteration of Apogee Ultra is lighter than previous models and boasts a more powerful battery, allowing for extended use without the need for frequent recharging. This makes it an even more versatile tool for both work and personal use. While the exoskeleton is now available for purchase, its pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
