Marvel Rivals Hits 644K Peak Concurrent Players on Steam
A month after its release, the superhero online action game Marvel Rivals has hit a new peak concurrent player count on Steam. This happened just hours after the launch of its first season. According to SteamDB, the game reached a peak of 644,000 concurrent players on December 11th.
The first season, titled Eternal Night Falls, launched on December 10th. It introduces a new map, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown, a Doom Match mode designed for 8-12 players, two new playable characters—Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four—a new battle pass, and more. Two additional characters, Human Torch and Thing, will be added mid-season. The season is scheduled to end on April 10th.
As a reminder, modders recently added characters from other universes to the game.
