PlayStation Veteran Suggests Possible Reason for Lack of Bloodborne Remaster
January 16, 2025, 12:12 PM
On January 15, PlayStation veteran Shuhei Yoshida officially left the company. Shortly after, the Kinda Funny Games channel interviewed the former executive.
During the conversation, host Greg Miller sought answers about why Sony has been hesitant to release a remaster of Bloodborne. According to Yoshida, the issue may lie with the game’s creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki, who simply does not have the time for another project.
Interestingly, Miyazaki himself has previously stated that he wouldn’t oppose the development of a PC port for Bloodborne. Additionally, journalist Imran Khan once hinted that Sony had been working on a remaster of the game but shelved the project for unknown reasons.
