Poster drops for Japanese anime adaptation of Alice in Wonderland

Japanese animation studio P.A. WORKS is set to release a full-length animated film based on the classic tale Alice in Wonderland. A poster featuring the anime's main character has already been released online.

Titled Alice in Wonderland: Dive in Wonderland, the film's plot will follow a girl named Rise who accidentally falls into Wonderland and meets the Alice from the story. According to an insider, the project will combine the whimsical and surreal world of Lewis Carroll with the unique storytelling and artistic style that Japanese anime is known for. The premiere is scheduled for August 29th. It's likely the full-length film will debut in theaters before becoming available on digital platforms.
