Obsidian Shows First Look at Avowed Character Creator

Obsidian Entertainment has shown the first look at the character editor in the role-playing game Avowed. Apparently, players will get a wide range of tools to create their own hero.

The developers showed several characters made in the in-game editor. There are both quite ordinary people with scars, and completely unique creatures with mushrooms on their heads, branches growing through their skulls, and even a face completely covered in bark:

In addition, players will be able to choose a backstory for their hero, which will affect their starting equipment and skills. There will be five options to choose from:

There will also be content for fans of faces from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion — the creators jokingly showed their favorite version of Envoy:

Recall that Avowed will be released on February 18, 2025 on PC and Xbox Series X / S, and will also appear in Game Pass. The RPG from the creators of Fallout: New Vegas will take players to the Living Lands from the Pillars of Eternity universe, where a mysterious plague is raging.

The project recently disappeared from the Steam libraries of some players who pre-ordered it. Obsidian Entertainment assured that the release date still remains the same.
