On January 28, two films had their digital releases. "Moana 2" and "Den of Thieves 2" became available for home viewing.
Both movies received a warm welcome from audiences: the animated film featuring Dwayne Johnson and the action-thriller starring Gerard Butler garnered 86% and 79% audience approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, respectively.
"Moana 2" also emerged as one of the highest-grossing film projects of 2024, earning over $1 billion at the box office. In contrast, "Den of Thieves 2" performed much more modestly, collecting only $40 million with a similar budget.
