Rumors are circulating online about a portable Xbox console that has yet to be officially announced. In a recent episode of The Xbox Two podcast, journalist Jez Corden mentioned that it is likely to be revealed in 2025, rather than during The Game Awards 2024 as many believe.
I don't think you're gonna see hardware at The Game Awards, but, um, I do think next year is a good year for revealing new hardware. Especially hardware you could hold in the palm of your hand.
It's worth noting that Nintendo is also preparing a new console, the Switch 2, which was recently revealed to have backward compatibility with the original Switch.
As for the new Steam Deck, a Valve designer previously stated that the company is not yet ready to present a new generation and wants to wait for a «leap in computational power».
