Today, 10:21
Apple has officially rolled out three major updates: iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2. These updates introduce several long-awaited AI-powered features under the Apple Intelligence initiative, including Siri integration with ChatGPT.
Key Features:
- Image Playground: A built-in image generator that lets users create visuals by providing text descriptions or uploading photos from their gallery. It’s integrated into multiple apps, including Messages, and is also available as a standalone app.
- Genmoji: Generates custom emojis. Users simply describe the desired emoji, and the tool creates it.
- Image Wand: A tool that draws complete images based on sketches made in the Notes app.
- Describe Your Change: A new feature in the Writing Tools suite for text editing. Users can now specify what they want to adjust in their text, and the tool will make the necessary changes.
- Visual Intelligence: A virtual assistant that identifies objects in the camera view. It can copy and translate text, find products online, describe items, and more. Currently, this feature is exclusive to iPhone 16 models.
- ChatGPT Integration: Siri and Writing Tools now include ChatGPT functionality. Users who prefer not to use the chatbot can disable it in the settings.
Apple Intelligence features currently work only in English. Supported devices include:
- iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max;
- iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max;
