Microsoft Starts Automatically Updating PCs to Windows 11 24H2
Microsoft announced in its official blog that it will automatically update Windows 11 to version 24H2. The developers assured that they have fixed most of the known issues.
Windows 11 24H2 has become quite famous for its bugs. For example, at various times, users complained about an undeletable cache, a disappearing cursor, a non-working display, and even a lack of security updates. Now Microsoft is confident that the new version of the OS is completely ready for widespread implementation, writes Tom's Hardware. However, the update can be delayed for another five weeks.
Earlier, Microsoft confirmed that the update to Windows 11 will remain free forever. Thus, the company corrected a recent statement hinting at a limited time of the promotion.
