Animated series based on Dead Cells gets a trailer

An animated series based on the 2D Metroidvania Dead Cells, which has received nearly 130,000 reviews and a 97% rating on Steam, has received a trailer and release date.
The animated series, titled Dead Cells: Immortalis, is produced by the Paris-based studio Bobbypills, which was responsible for the game's animated trailers. The upcoming show will follow the story of a fiery-headed hero on a quest to save a cursed island from a mad king. The animated series will consist of 10 episodes.
The show will premiere on the streaming service Animation Digital Network on June 19.
