One of the alpha testing participants leaked a three-minute recording of a team battle from Deadlock, Valve's new hero shooter. In it, he talked a little more about mechanics and gave advice to beginners.
New gameplay details:
- On the map, green dots indicate stores where you can replenish consumables;
- The stores are valid until the team's tower is captured;
- On the map you can find boxes with supplies that increase ammunition and endurance;
- There are «forest creeps» in buildings, which also drop currency in the form of souls;
- The souls of «forest creeps» are unprotected, and if you defeat the player, you can take them for yourself;
- For destroying enemy towers by a player, the entire team receives passive skill points;
- There are teleports to the base on the map;
- Killing some bosses and creeps opens up additional skill slots.
Let us remind you that Deadlock is being developed as a hero shooter in the spirit of Dota 2, in which teams of players fight against each other. The project is still in the early stages of development.
Valve itself has not yet commented on the numerous leaks.
Many other Deadlock gameplay details from Tom Henderson have previously appeared. Also leaked online were the main menu and a screenshot of an early version of the game, which was called Neon Prime.
