Insider: Xbox will publish a new game from the creator of Assassin's Creed

According to insider eXputer, known for leaking the release dates of Hellblade 2 and Redfall, the Panache Digital Games studio will release a new game with the support of Xbox. Development is headed by Patrice Desilets, founder of the studio and creator of Assassin's Creed.

As an insider said on the eXputer forum, the publishing house Xbox Games Studios will distribute a certain new project by Patrice Désilets. The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5. It is possible that we are talking about 1666: Amsterdam — a long-term construction by a game designer about a dark magician in the capital of Holland in the 17th century.

The project will be released in 2026 or 2027, says eXputer.

Let's remember that Ubisoft recently shared a large excerpt of Assassin's Creed: Shadows gameplay.
