YouTuber Imagines The Last of Us: Part 2 as a First-Person Shooter
The creator behind the YouTube channel Xander Farrell Animations has unveiled a fan-made project based on The Last of Us: Part 2. In a three-minute video, the fan showcases how the game might look with a first-person perspective. The project took over a year to complete.
The video features Ellie using a knife, pistol, shotgun, and other weapons. The creator added numerous unique animations that reflect the protagonist's emotional state. For instance, under intense stress, Ellie struggles to insert the magazine properly, adding a layer of realism.
The creator clarified that this is purely a project created in Blender 3D. With the PC version of the game not set to release until April, similar mods are unlikely to surface anytime soon.
Previously, Naughty Dog announced a new game titled Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. The title is set to release exclusively on PlayStation 5.
