Fully Playable Venom Finally Comes to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 — Thanks to Mods

When Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 first launched on PlayStation 5, players tried to "break" the game to make Venom a fully playable character. But with the PC release, things have become much easier—modders have already introduced fully functional Venom mods.
A modder known as okangel has released two modifications:
- Venom as Inventory Slot (Modular) – Replaces the classic suit with Venom’s symbiote form;
- Okangel’s Venom Wings – Adds wings that grow during the final act, allowing players to freely explore New York.
The mods can be downloaded here and here. The developer notes that installation requires the Overstrike mod manager, and recommends deleting the toc.BAK file in the game folder for proper functionality.
