Recently, a new feature was discovered in the files of Mortal Kombat 1, which is currently absent from the base version of the game. This feature is known as Hara-Kiri. It's a type of finisher where the character kills themselves.
A video showcasing the animations of this finisher has already been posted on Reddit.
The developers have not officially announced Hara-Kiri for Mortal Kombat 1 yet. It's possible that this type of finisher will become available in one of the upcoming updates.
It's worth noting that, as of now, Hara-Kiri is only present in one game of the series — Mortal Kombat: Deception from 2004. However, some other games feature self-destruction for certain characters only.
