Fortnite will feature a collaboration with Metallica
Epic Games has announced the participation of Metallica in the fourth season of Fortnite, which starts today. In addition to cosmetic items and the concert, players will receive a new musical PvP mode for 16 participants.
New to the season is Battle Stage, a new mode in which gamers will compete against each other to perform a set list of four Metallica songs. In the process, you can attack opponents, interrupting the performance and throwing them out of the arena. In the final there will be only one player who scored more points for the performance and lasted until its completion.
In the Fortnite store you will be able to find Metallica themed skins, as well as several songs from the band:
- Metallica — «Enter Sandman»;
- Metallica — «Fuel»;
- Metallica — «Master of Puppets»;
- Metallica — «Ride the Lightning»;
- Metallica — «The Unforgiven»;
- Metallica — «Wherever I May Roam».
Premium account holders will also be able to receive skins of the band members — James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo and Lars Ulrich.
In addition, a full-fledged Metallica concert will take place in Fortnite. It will take place on June 22 and 23.
