Resident Evil 2 Designer Slams Assassin's Creed Shadows Haters, Calls Them “Insects”

Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 2, and Bayonetta designer Hideki Kamiya has joined the heated debate surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The Japanese developer congratulated Ubisoft on reaching two million players before addressing the vocal critics of the game’s latest entry.
Kamiya dismissed the backlash, claiming that such controversies are often fueled by a loud minority. Some users accused him of disrespecting his own culture, to which he fired back, calling them “insects.”
This isn't just about this particular case, but whenever a small yet loud group starts raging like, "How dare they! Unforgivable!", the much larger group with a "Who cares, it's fine" stance usually stays silent... I wonder if there's a way to make this "silent majority" equally visible in any situation.
Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Shadows recently hit a peak of 64,000 concurrent players on Steam. Ubisoft has already thanked fans and promised ongoing support for the game.
