In Directive 8020, you can find several codes and passwords for lockers, terminals, storage rooms, and story-related devices during the walkthrough. This guide collects all known codes in Directive 8020 and briefly explains where to find the clues for each one.
All Codes in Episode 2
The first code you may encounter is the Locker Room code while playing as Eisele in Episode 2. To find it, leave the Locker Room and return to the Atrium. Go up the stairs to the upper level and find the locked room on the other side. You can open it with the Utility Strap. Use it, look inside through the window, then use the device again to unlock the door. In this room, you can find several Secrets and gain access to a security camera. The required combination is shown on the camera screen. The Locker Room code is 13576.
The next code is needed to access Carter’s PC. The clue is right on the monitor: there is a note attached to it with the name Luna, Carter’s daughter, as well as an image of a party hat. Return to the previous room and find the calendar with marked dates in the right corner. In the lower-right corner, one date is marked: August 28. This is Luna’s birthday, which is used as the password. Carter’s PC code is 2808. If you are playing in English, the code will be 0828.
All Codes in Episode 3
During the objective to find Simms, you can find the code for the Food Storage Room. To do this, you first need to open an additional room in the far-right corner. Use the Wedge Tool and break the lock. Search the room if you want to collect extra materials, but the code itself is written on a note on the back side of the door. The Food Storage Room code is 0402.
All Codes in Episode 5
In Episode 5, Anders will suggest that Samantha sedate Williams to get the data disk. During the puzzle, you need to choose the correct sequence of chemical reagents. The terminal uses a similar input interface and requires a three-digit code. The clues for the solution can be found on the panels in the room, but the final code is 168.
Another code is tied to the Anomaly Log. In the episode where you play as Cernan and become separated from the rest of the team, you can find a protected terminal in Bridge Ops. To get the clue, go through the door to the right of the screen and follow the corridor to the cockpit. There, you will find another Secret and a note that says: "Anomaly Log code: CAIF." The letters need to be converted into numbers based on their positions in the alphabet: C is 3, A is 1, I is 9, and F is 6. This gives you the code 3196.
All Codes in Episode 7
After finding the missing Anders, the ship’s crew will discover a broken probe that needs to be repaired. For the final repair step, the terminal will ask for a code in the form of the device’s serial number. The code can be found on the probe itself, as well as on the detached part to the left of it. The correct code is 2540.
