We've gathered all the cheat codes for Sons of the Forest. Like the first part, the game is a survival horror set on an island in the ocean, inhabited by mutants and cannibals, making survival a challenging task. If desired, you can use cheats for weapons, immortality, items, building, and more. You'll find the list of codes in this guide.
Console Commands in Sons of the Forest
To activate console commands in single-player or multiplayer modes, simply load the last save and type CHEATSTICK on the keyboard. In multiplayer, you must be the server owner, which requires creating the server yourself.
After entering the command, the console becomes accessible, where codes can be entered. It can be opened using the F1 key.
List of commands:
- /help — list all codes;
- allowCheats [on/off] — enable or disable the ability to use cheats;
- resetHolesMode [on/off] — remove or add holes in buildings;
- targetFpsActive [FPS] — set a frame rate limit (frames per second) for your server;
- targetFpsIdle [FPS] — limit the frame rate for inactive players;
- saveFolderPath [path] — assign a folder on your computer where all server files will be saved;
- configfilepath [path][/b] — a command similar to the previous one, but it saves information instead of files;
- difficulty [Peaceful/Normal/Hard/HardSurvival] — select a difficulty level;
- veganMode [on/off] — remove (on) or return (off) all enemies;
- realisticPlayerDamage [on/off] — enable increased damage mode to players;
- /kick [Steam ID] — remove a user from the server by their Steam ID. They can reconnect if they wish;
- /ban [Steam ID] — ban a user by Steam ID. They will not be able to return to your server;
- /openlogs — show logs;
- /closelogs — close logs;
- /treeregrowmode — return 10% of cut down trees while players are sleeping;
- /allowenemiescreative — add enemies in creative mode;
- /allowbuildingdestruction — allow destruction of buildings;
- /save [number from 1 to 5] — save the game in the chosen slot;
- /restart — restart the server;
- /shutdown — turn off the server.
Cheat Codes in Sons of the Forest
To use cheats, you need to open the console with the F1 key. We've written above about how to do this. Only the server owner can enter codes.
List of available cheats:
- godmode [on/off] — turn on or off immortality mode;
- regenhealth — restore health to 100%;
- buffstats — remove thirst and hunger, replenish stamina;
- addallitems — receive all available items;
- addallstoryitems — receive all items necessary for progressing through the storyline;
- removeallitems — remove all items from the inventory;
- additem [item name] — add a specific item;
- spawnworldobject x — create an object, for example, a stone or stick;
- instantbookbuild on — construct the building you've selected in the book;
- instantbookbuild off — cancel instant construction;
- showhud on/off — turn off or on the interface;
- superjump on/off — enable or disable the ability to make high jumps;
- speedyrun on/off — enable or disable fast running;
- cavelight on — illuminate the area around the player;
- cavelight off — turn off the illumination from the previous cheat;
- createlight — add an additional source of light to the location;
- gotocoords [x number] [y number] [z number] — move to a point on the map by specified coordinates;
- save — save the game;
- addcharacter robby [number] — create the specified number of Kelvins;
- addvirginia [number] — summon a certain number of Virginias;
- aigodmode [on/off] — turn on or off immortality mode for allies;
- aighostplayer [on/off] — enable or disable the mode where enemies stop noticing you;
- aipause — freeze all enemies and allies;
- aidisable — remove all enemies and companions;
- aishowsurvivalstats [on/off] — show the level of hunger, thirst, and energy in NPCs;
- aishowstats [on/off] — demonstrate the level of anger and fear in NPCs;
- airadar [on/off] — show the distance from NPCs to your hero;
- aiarmorlevel [number] — set the level of protection in NPCs;
- aiangerlevel [number] — specify the degree of aggression in NPCs;
- aianimspeed [number] — change the animation speed in NPCs. 1 — standard value, 0.1 — minimum, 10 — maximum;
- aidummy [on/off] — NPCs will not pay attention to you;
- setplayerrace [number] — change the skin color of your character;
- aivillageclosest [on/off] — show distance to the nearest village;
- treescutall [on/off] — remove all trees around the player. Can be useful if you decided to build a base here;
- aistatadjust [statistic name] [+/- number] — adjust specific characteristics of NPCs;
- killradius [number] — kill everyone within a specified radius;
- animalsenabled [on/off] — remove or bring back all animals;
- settimeofday morning — set the time to morning;
- settimeofday night — set the time to night;
- settimeofday [number from 1 to 24] — change the time to the specified hour;
- locktimeofday morning — permanently set to morning time;
- season summer — change the season to summer;
- season autumn — change the season to autumn;
- season winter — change the season to winter;
- season spring — change the season to spring;
- forcerain sunny — enable sunny weather;
- forcerain heavy — cause rain;
- aiworldeventstats [on/off] — display the level of cannibals' anger, time of day, and all world events;
- aiworldstats [on/off] — show statistics of animals, cannibals, and other enemies in the entire game world;
- aizonestats [on/off] — display statistics of cannibals, animals, and other enemies in your specific area;
- showfps [on/off] — display frames per second (FPS) in the top right corner of the screen;
- showhud [on/off] — enable or disable the interface
- aishowdebugcamera [on/off] — free camera.
