Free-to-play action game Muramasa Burden featuring a demon samurai now available on Steam

Recently, an adventure action game titled Muramasa Burden was released on Steam. Set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Japanese mythology, this game is available under the F2P (Free-to-Play) model.

The main protagonist is a demon samurai armed with a powerful katana that grants him supernatural abilities. According to the storyline, the hero must defeat the god of yokai, who aims to conquer the world with his army.

The game offers two levels, each featuring bosses and multiple locations. One of the unique aspects of the game is the absence of a health bar. Instead, there is a timer counting down to the character's death. To extend his life, the hero must continuously kill enemies.

Moreover, the closer the hero is to death, the more furious his attacks become. This state has two stages, increasing both attack power and movement speed.

Interestingly, the project was developed by students from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
