Permafrost, a survival game about eternal winter, has been released on Steam
A demo of Permafrost, an atmospheric survival game about eternal winter in the spirit of Rust and The Long Dark, was released as part of Steam Next Fest. Players will have to explore a frozen open world, escaping from the cold, collecting resources and building their own bases.
According to the plot, in 2035, a cataclysm occurred, as a result of which the Earth completely froze. Gamers will need to explore the remains of civilization alone or in a co-op, collecting supplies and fighting for survival. Among the mechanics are hunting, construction, crafting, resource farming and a realistic system of needs. There will even be a companion dog that will be able to carry the player's things. The developers also promise an interesting plot and many options for solving certain quests.
