9 Dreams

A fantasy MMORPG where players take on the role of demon hunters. The events of 9 Dreams unfold on the continent of the Fairyland, which is under threat of invasion by otherworldly forces. The project emphasizes colorful 3D visuals, as well as both PvE and PvP content.

The gameplay revolves around exploring various zones, completing quests, and unlocking new content. Locations differ not only visually but also in terms of activities: some focus on combat, while others emphasize events or quest-driven gameplay.

Certain zones can feel like standalone stories with their own atmosphere. Essentially, they are different parts of a single world where presentation and activity types change, but the core mechanics remain consistent.

At the start, players choose one of four classes, which defines their combat style and skill set. As they progress, characters develop along multiple paths: improving both their abilities and equipment.

9 Dreams also features additional progression systems such as artifacts, pets, charms, and wings. These provide stat bonuses and expand the character's combat capabilities.

A separate mechanic is transformations: the character can temporarily take on the form of a more powerful entity, gaining access to new and stronger abilities directly during combat.

Personalities are alternative progression paths with unique mechanics. They are not starting classes, but an additional layer of character development on top of them.

The character absorbs the souls of defeated bosses using a special resource, becoming stronger in the process. These souls are used to assemble guardian spirits that grant stat bonuses and can be upgraded. The system is built around collecting, enhancing, and combining these spirits, as well as talents that directly boost character stats or accelerate progression.

Here the focus shifts away from combat toward development: completing tasks, hiring creatures to gather resources, and crafting furniture and food. By developing a home and hosting feasts, players unlock stat bonuses. This personality is designed for passive progression and resource accumulation.

Players complete tasks of varying difficulty, including contracts from other players. In return, they receive resources used to create and upgrade so-called techniques — special abilities with strong passive effects.

9 Dreams features both PvE and PvP content. PvE includes story missions, dungeons, and boss fights, including cross-server encounters. These activities often require cooperation with other players.

PvP is designed for multiple formats, ranging from one-on-one duels to large-scale guild battles.

The game regularly introduces time-limited events and activities that reward players with resources and items. These rotate on a schedule and encourage regular returns to the game.

As in any MMO, player interaction is a cornerstone of 9 Dreams. Players can form guilds, assemble groups for cooperative content, and participate in shared events.

Additionally, the game includes more unusual mechanics for the genre — such as a relationship system and even in-game weddings. These provide access to bonus content with unique rewards, reinforcing the game's focus on social features.
