ACE Academy

ACE Academy is an adventure visual novel with elements of combat robots and a futuristic world. In 2049, mechanized robots, commonly referred to as GEAR, were developed for military use. Since then, their versatile functionality has led to them not only becoming commonplace in commercial use, but also spawning an entire sports entertainment industry. The widespread use and popularity of GEAR created a new academic field known as "cenorobotics."

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the main character is transferred to ACE Academy, the leading school for the study of hay robotics in Japan. He struggles to find a team willing to accept him and his outdated "American" GEAR for a head-to-head tournament. Compared to the sleek, reliable and advanced technology of its Japanese counterparts, its search seems completely hopeless. That is, until he discovers that a group of pilots is quite desperate for another member.
