renderer.ini in C:/Users/yourusername/AppData/Local/Remedy/AlanWake2
unpack all DX files (in the DX Files section) into the main game directory
If booting fails, disable nVidia Overlay.
if the resolution does not match the resolution of your computer, change the following settings in the renderer.ini file to your resolution without changing other settings:

m_iOutputResolutionX: 2560,

m_iOutputResolutionY: 1600,
