BlackSite: Area 51 positions itself as a continuation of the rather interesting shooter Area 51, which had everything that X-Files fans love: evil aliens, a virus, government conspiracies, etc. It is surprising that despite the gloomy content, some elements were served in an ironic sauce, which gave the game some kind of charm. The same cannot be said about the sequel.
In general, other than the name, BlackSite is in no way connected with the original. However, otherwise it would not have helped her much. The fact is that the game is just a banal shooter, which a couple of black programmers worked on. How else can you explain the secondary and uninteresting plot? BlackSite: Area 51 позиционирует себя, как продолжение довольно интересного шутера Area 51, где было всё, что любят фанаты секретных материалов: злые пришельцы, вирус, заговоры правительства и т.д. Удивительно, что несмотря на мрачное содержание, некоторые элементы подавались под ироническим соусом, что придавало игре какой-никакой шарм. Про продолжение такого не скажешь.
Вообще кроме названия, BlackSite никак не связана с оригиналом. Впрочем, в обратном случае ей бы это мало помогло. Дело в том, что игра — всего лишь навсего банальный шутер, над которым трудилось пару тройка негров-программистов. Иначе как объяснить вторичный и неинтересный сюжет?
