Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich — the player is offered two campaigns containing two chapters (a total of 8 missions for each side). When playing for the USSR, these are: Operation Bagration and the Budapest Operation (1944), for German troops — the Courland Pocket and the Balaton Operation. The game uses a virtually unchanged graphics engine from the base game. As in the first game, the sequel recreates the original military equipment of the war years. The total number of different units of equipment is more than 300, infantry — about 60.
