As in previous parts, you have to build an ancient Roman city and lead it to the glory and prosperity of the Roman Empire. With each completed task, you will move up the political ladder, trying to become the new emperor.

You will solve issues from providing the population with water and food, to building roads and forming legendary legions!
The game will force you to solve very difficult problems of building chains of production and trade of a wide variety of goods, to meet both the internal needs of the city and for trade with neighbors and distant cities.
So clay from the coastal regions will be used to make ceramics, and marble mined in the adits will be used to build majestic temples to the gods, gods whose displeasure can result in crop failures, uprisings or sunken ships.
