Disciples is a well-known turn-based strategy series with RPG elements, which has some similarities to the Heroes of Might and Magic games. Only here the gamer controls not huge armies, but squads of several fighters, who can be improved after constructing some buildings in the castle.
There are also slightly fewer available factions here than in the HoMM series, and each available side of the conflict has its own unique magic and properties of fighters hired in the city.
The hero that the gamer will play for has his own inventory and certain characteristics, which adds role-playing elements to the strategic gameplay.
