Metro Game Series
Metro is a small series of shooters from the Ukrainian company 4A Games, created based on the book by Dmitry Glukhovsky "Metro 2033," and later on its own script. The main character of the series is a man named Artyom, who fought against hundreds of mutated monsters in his home metro station, which led him on a long journey.
All Metro games are standard first-person shooters, where the main enemies are mutants. The metro and the streets of destroyed cities in these games resemble real places due to the well-conveyed atmosphere and architecture of the locations chosen by the author.
Metro Exodus even provided players with a completely open world, as the main character finally emerges from underground.
