Driver: Parallel Lines

1978 Eighteen-year-old boy T-Kid is looking for a job as a driver. And so, he is hired by the tycoons of the criminal business. The plot here is generally banal. You plow, you are betrayed, you take revenge. But everything is stylized in a cool way: commercials, music on the radio, cars. There's even some pretty good tuning here. Missions are courier tasks - to come there, pick up this, take it to that. There are, of course, shootouts, but the emphasis is still on driving, which is a little clumsy, especially if you play for the first time, and I’m generally silent about motor vehicles, but you can get used to it. In general, in the 78th T-Kid is an errand boy. They put him in prison for 28 years and voila - 2006. Already a harsh guy, T-Kid begins the hunt for those who betrayed him. The most important thing is that New York in 78 and 06 is shown very differently. And it's great, although it lacks graphics capabilities. It's a pleasure to play the game now.
