Elder Scrolls 4: Shivering Isles — As soon as the hero hears a rumor about a “strange door” in Nibenay Bay, he immediately goes to the place. The unusual door is located on a small island, so getting there is not easy. A guard stands on duty near the door, warning of danger. In confirmation of his words, a Dunmer in torn clothes immediately runs out of the flickering light. He makes a passionate, paranoid speech and, summing it up with a statement about the need to kill someone, attacks the onlookers.
Without thinking twice, the guard kills him. A moment later, Sheogorath himself addresses the hero, inviting him to enter his kingdom. Entering the door, the protagonist finds himself in a dark room. In the center of the room there is a table with 2 chairs. A certain Haskill sits on one of them. Haskill, when trying to talk to him, invites him to sit down. After fulfilling his request, Haskill tells the hero about the Shivering Isles. The story is accompanied by the ticking of a strange metronome. Then it becomes clear to the hero that he is already on the Shivering Isles.
