Far Cry 2

The introduction of an open game world into the game is an innovation for the Far Cry universe. At first, when I saw this game on the shelves, I didn’t believe that it was it, because... Atmosphere - Africa is made chic and you can really feel this hot flavor and, in addition, against the backdrop of a civil war. I also liked the fauna of the game, you are driving a car and suddenly you see a herd of zebras running on the right or a deer may jump out onto the road or I forgot the name of this animal))))

Cars - I liked driving them and the biggest thing is fixing cars, opening the hood and watch the same animation

Healing wounds - in this game I saw this for the first time and immediately fell in love, when a person pulls a bullet out of his hand or a piece of a branch from his leg, it’s just a head fall off

From Far Cry in the second part, only the name remains. I have started this game 3 times since its release and each time I turned it off after about an hour of play. And then Ubisoft had a glitch and a full pack of the series was sold for 45 rubles. Since I didn’t have only the first and 2 parts, I decided that for this amount it would be fine. Only this doesn’t save part 2. Moving along brown corridors in an open world where you can’t really take shortcuts, clearing outposts every time you pass through them, spending more time on the way to a mission than on completing it - all this simply destroys the game. There is no game, there are a bunch of ideas that were developed only in part 3. I finished the game with grief and will never play it again in my life.

The second part is not as popular as the third or even the first, but it is no worse than them. I agree with those who say that the game has boring missions, this is true. But in terms of the open world and the technical side, the game is simply unique. Yes Well, there are a lot of videos on YouTube where many of the effects made in the second part look and look better than in the fifth part and even in the sixth part. Quite a good game for a weak computer. This part is the most realistic in Far Cry: Weapons can break, cool physics, which is still cool even now, etc. This part is also the first open-world game in Far Cry. The graphics are normal, but the plot is not very interesting. (By the way, I noticed one interesting detail of the game: depending on the choice of character there will be different allies).
