I'll be honest. The game didn't start. Yes, religions and so on are fun, but honestly. I didn’t like it (personal opinion, don’t take it seriously). In my opinion, the branch from the fifth part, namely New Dawn, suited me better. At least it’s interesting to run around the world, farm ethanol, and you don’t have to worry about weapons. I bought the last workshop and that’s it. Collect weapons with modifiers and don’t worry. In the fifth part there are few references to other parts (or I’m blind, I don’t know).

This whole story with fanatics and creating a better world with the help of weapons, drugs and faith is now quite relevant in our world. I liked the plot of the game and the gameplay, the ending was unexpected for me.
A decent game, an interesting plot and wonderful music, taking into account the gorgeous localization, you can give it a 10 without a twinge of conscience, but towards the end of the game the monotonous clearing of fanatic posts begins to kill, so the final score is slightly lower.
In fairness, we must admit that this is probably the best part released so far.
The game finally abandoned the stupid tower system and successfully integrated hiding places and hunting into the world around us. But, for my taste, the setting of provincial America turned out very well, where everyone has the right to have a gun and the right to use it if someone decides to take a shortcut through its hidden territory.
It worked out both with the plot and with the gameplay. You want to play the game, you want to destroy enemies, and save key NPCs.
The only negative I can name is the ending. But this, of course, is IMHO.
I passed Far Edge 5 and even wanted to share my impressions.
To put it briefly and immediately, my rating is 6/10. It's not garbage, but this game didn't bring much joy either.
In more detail, the game left a mixed impression. As I said, the game is not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but when I start to think about it and somehow analyze what I was playing, it doesn’t turn out very well.
In general, the series of edge headlights, for the most part, somehow passed me by, I knew very well about its existence, but neither the first one appealed to me, nor the second one and I abandoned them at an early stage, the 3rd and I didn’t play the 4th at all and only Far Cry Blood Dragon I completed completely and with pleasure, but more on that a little later.

Completed the game. I liked it. I recommend it. The world is interesting, and most importantly, fun. Many interesting locations and tasks. The sectarians are completely frostbitten - especially their pilots. Animals won't let you get bored either. During a fight, a suddenly running elk or bison can change the situation. The main thing is not to expose yourself to the attacks of turkeys. Generally not a bad game. After completing it, I also advise you to go through New Dawn.

Well, the game turned out to be interesting, everything is as always, starting from the third part: there are trips! a bunch of guns? There is! interesting villain? There is! Damn it, I had fun with this part for almost six months with a friend, they did crazy things, but it helped me win a couple of thousand from him (they did all sorts of things that were “weak”). Regarding the plot, as always there is evil, they put a spoke in our wheels, capture the entire territory, simultaneously destroying sectarians and local predatory and not so living creatures (11/10 peacocks, which, God forbid, damage). Gameplay - take a gun, shoot, take a car, race, everything is simple and without any problems. Fun, funny, I recommend it!)
I love to complete such games 100%, and this part requires a lot of time, although for me it’s less than the fourth. But I still recommend the co-op. Completed it with a friend during a free month of Uplay. There were also additions. And I’m sure if you play solo, the game is more boring, and I probably would have abandoned it without co-op. In general, Far Cry 5 is good, but the cult third one is definitely better for me!
The start of the game is very promising, personally, in terms of the plot, I even slightly expected something in the spirit of the movie Apocalypse Now, but after the first hour or two you begin to understand that nothing interesting will happen anymore: there may be no more capture of towers, but here are other things to do like the clearing of outposts remained, and now the entire extremely meager plot is built on them. Clear outposts, destroy silos, kill cultists - that's all you can do in this game.
I strongly recommend going through it in the company of a friend, otherwise you risk getting bored from the monotonous grind within the first 10 hours of the game
In general, I can only say that this series suffered the fate of other Ubisoft games, and therefore what to expect - the gameplay is not particularly interesting
Hope County is captured by fanatical sectarians and isolated from the outside world... an interesting idea, of course, but extremely poorly implemented. There is no plot in itself; in FarCry 5, as in most modern games, the main focus is on graphics. Yes, the graphics are not even bad, but the monotonous tasks and heavily scripted sectarians are very tiring. Only fishing and hunting save you from death from boredom)))

The third part is still the best in the series. And here's why.
No main character, no plot, no setting, no interesting tasks (except 1-2), no interesting characters. The player has no motivation or incentive to do all this. Before this, I wrote a review of Far Cry 6, and here my review can simply be copied and pasted, slightly replacing the original information. However, I want to note that the protagonist in this part for me is in second place out of all the protagonists in the Far Cry series (1st place, of course, Vaas).
I still recommend buying the game and trying it out at a discount. By the way, it’s really fun to play with a friend, so the game is a good cooperative game. There are no unique solutions that would make the project better or worse.

I love all parts of Far Edge, I completed almost everything, including the DLC, Far Edge 5 I tried to pass 2 times. Firstly, it’s far from the best part (there are people who think so) Secondly, it’s super similar. Just need to clear 3 sectors, lol. By the way, the graphics and atmosphere are very cool. And by the way, I didn’t understand one thing, I had the premium version (not a pirate version, if anything) and they gave me a free cheat gun from the DLC, which kills everyone with a large radius with one shot. The game is really good, there are a lot of side missions and tasks, there is a lot of fun and things to do.
I think it’s worth buying this game, but not for the full price, something is still missing for the full price.

Gameplay - The same as the previous parts, well, they added helicopters and fishing
