God of War (2005)

God of War (2005) is a brutal slasher adventure game with a third-person view in a fantasy universe. The game takes place in Ancient Greece and is based on Greek mythology. The main character Kratos is a Spartan warrior who serves the Olympian gods. On Athena's orders, he must destroy the current god of war, Ares, thereby earning forgiveness for killing his own family. To do this, Kratos goes on a dangerous journey to get the legendary Pandora's Box, which gives enormous power.
