So, it's time for a very relevant review!
It is certainly clear that the GTA V game, which was remembered by all players for the fact that it gathered quite a high stir, received simply huge ratings from publications, became the most expensive video game in the Universe... and was ported to PC for as long as 2 years... .But more on that later, let's first talk about my impressions. I decided to split this review into 4 parts: prologue, “Game on Past-Gen” (then Current-Gen), “Game on current Current-Gen”, “Game on PC” and epilogue. Let's begin!
When this game was announced, I was probably the only person who didn't care. Seriously, I didn't expect anything big and exciting from this game. At least, large-scale and exciting by the standards of GTA, because the games in this series are already a priori such. I thought that this would be a “regular” good GTA, in which you could spend a couple of days of fun, then go through the story campaign, have fun in the multiplayer, throw it on the shelf, then take it out again and go through all the above steps again... In principle, I was partially right, as I later became personally convinced of.
When I came to the store on the day of release, I saw what I was most afraid of - empty windows. This game was like chicken pox - it appeared on everyone! The only exception was me. I received my copy only with the second batch, which did not take long to arrive. Finally, in the evening, lying down on a soft sofa (#TrollingPK-shnikov100lvl), I started the game. First impressions were simply wonderful: the game was filled with emotions, action, drive... and everything you could think of! I went through the story campaign in one breath, only then I allowed myself to have fun, and I don’t regret it one bit! I can say with confidence that this is the best story in the series! After a while they opened “online” and it was just...terrible. Why was it? He WAS and STILL is terrible. Regular ejections from the session, players eager to kill everyone around, replitoids screaming into the voice chat... However, there was and is everything that prevents you from enjoying the exciting multiplayer. It is best to play in the company of friends and/or acquaintances. Finally, after spending about 1000 hours in it, I stopped playing it. I'm tired of it and that's it, because even the most exciting and masterpiece projects tend to get boring... but they don't tend to be forgotten.
I didn’t even notice how ‘GTA V’ came out on the then Next-Gen, and this time, not wanting to go to the store, I bought SteamPSN version, and I don’t think I made a mistake. Let's skip the endlessly long loading process... After it was finished, I went straight to Online and transferred the old character, which was a rather nice feature. I go into Online itself, and what do I see? As many as 300 thousand! Anarchy, chaos, bugs... now I can already hear the entire server screaming in the micro (the headset connects easily to the PS4), however, everything got even worse, and this prevented me from enjoying the beauty of the game... Of course, on the next day, I went into the “single” and got the opportunity to see all this beauty with my own eyes... The game became much more beautiful, more elaborate, more interesting - it found a second life, one might say. I’ve been playing this version for less than 200 hours, after which the phrase “Oh, that’s it!” and “disc flying to the shelf” (well, in a figurative sense, that is, I just didn’t start the game). Oh yeah...The first person view on this version is interesting, but useless.
Then, for the last time, I played this game in April with a friend on a powerful PC. Everything was set to “ultra” and... the game didn’t become much more beautiful, the range increased and that’s all... No, I’m not saying that PC gamers waited so long in vain... Although no, that’s what I want to say. The graphics, of course, have improved, but not much, especially since I played on a console for $400, and then on a PC for at least $2000. Of the few improvements, we can highlight improvements to the first-person view - that's why it's worth playing the PC version of GTA V.
So, what did we get? In fact, I didn't say anything about the game, but I don't think I needed to. Everyone already knows that GTA V is a masterpiece.... I advise you to playif you can... (This divine joke is no longer relevant)!
