Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix — despite the fact that in some previous games in the series there was the possibility of free movement around the castle, in this part there are even fewer restrictions in the gameplay; the player can freely move around the location — the game territory (the game location is Hogwarts Castle and a small part of its surroundings, including the owlery (located behind Hogwarts), part of the Forbidden Forest and Hagrid's hut located nearby). “Living” portraits of various personalities hanging on the walls make it easier to move around the school grounds, because through them you can kind of transgress — enter in one place and leave in another. To do this, you need to find out the password to move through the painting by completing the task that the portrait will give.

Just when there seemed to be no hope for the series to recover, the fifth installment was released. It’s not that she turned out to be exemplary, but she was very good, that’s for sure. They returned full freedom of action, added a whole bunch of cool little things scattered throughout Hogwarts. At one point you simply forget about the plot and, having filled yourself with secondary tasks like a dog with fleas, you go on a search throughout the game world. I was also pleased with the whole selection of mini-games.
The graphics are again the weakest side of the game, but they’ve probably already come to terms with this situation, and no one expects even more or less decent pictures from the series. Another problem of the game is the camera, which lives its own life.
Overall, it’s nice that the game has returned to its roots, and the series has brought joy for the first time in many years.
Когда, казалось, надежды на то, что серия оправится, нет, вышла пятая часть. Не то, чтобы она оказалась образцово-показательной, но очень добротной — это уж точно. Вернули полную свободу действий, добавили целую кучу классных мелочей, разбросанных по всему Хогвартсу. В один момент просто забываешь о сюжете и, набравшись второстепенных заданий как собака блох, отправляешься на поиски по игровому миру. Обрадовала и целая подборка мини-игр.
Графика вновь слабейшая сторона игры, но с таким положением уже, наверное, смирились, и никто не ждёт от серии хотя бы более-менее приличной картинки. Ещё одна проблема игры — камера, живущая своей жизнь.
В целом, приятно, что игра вернулась к корням, и серия впервые порадовала за долгие годы.
After part 4, there was no hope that the series about Harry would somehow straighten out. But then suddenly it turned out to be a good game. It was very interesting to explore Hogwarts and the surrounding areas. The tasks were interesting enough not to give up, and the difficulty was moderate. This was the last Potter game I completed. Then Maddison came along and showed that the next 3 games were pieces of nothing to make money from the brand.
После 4 части надеяться на то, что серия о Гарри как-то выпрямится не приходилось. Но тут внезапно получилась хорошая игра. Было очень интересно исследовать хогвартс и прилегающие территории. Задания были достаточно интересными, чтоб не бросить прохождение, да и сложность была в меру. Это была последняя игра о Поттере, которую я прошел. Потом появился Мэддисон, который показал, что следующие 3 игры являются кусками ничего для заработка денег на бренде.
