Killzone 2 — 2 years have passed since the events of the previous game. The Vektans, supported by the I.S.A. fleet. The protagonist is Thomas "Sev" Sevchenko, a fighter of the Alpha group, while Ian Templar, the main character of the first part, having risen to the rank of colonel, commands the cruiser Supernova, directing the operation at a strategic level. The game begins with the landing of the I.S.A. on Helghan, in the area of ​​the Corinth River, where they encounter fierce resistance from the Helghast. Together with Rico, Garza and Natko, Sev organizes fire cover for a column of friendly tanks on the way to Pyrrhus, the capital of Helghan.
