Lamentum

Lamentum is a dark side-scrolling action adventure game set in New England in the mid-19th century. The game tells the story of a young aristocrat named Victor. He embarks on a desperate journey to find a cure for a rare disease. So he ends up in the gloomy mansion of Grau Hill, where the count lives, according to rumors, capable of fulfilling any wish. True, this has a certain price. On the way, the hero will be able to use various tools (lamp, bandages, master keys, etc.) and weapons (melee and ranged with unique characteristics). The game relies not on action at all, but on atmosphere. Sometimes it will simply be unprofitable to fight monsters, and therefore the hero will have to hide and move as secretly as possible.
