Language Lab

Language Lab is an arcade puzzle game with a first-person view in the genre of virtual reality and an open world. This is not a standard language learning app. This is the CrossFit of language learning apps. If you need to review grammar instructions and want multiple choice exercises to show how good you are, there are other apps for that. If you prefer to see the alphabet written on a board to learn pronunciation, there are other apps for that.

The authors re-approached the process of language acquisition from scratch. They tried to create lessons that mimicked the same learning process that we all used when learning our first language as children. This means that the first thing you do is listen and see what they say to you. You then experiment with objects in class and try to understand what you are told to do.
