Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the #1 co-op game of 2008.
This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns.
You'll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you'll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan.

Bigger and better, that's how you can describe Left 2 dead 2. The game takes all the best from the first part, adds more, and improves what it can.

Continuation of a very good first part. I wouldn’t say that it was rethought, but rather modified.
The basis of the gameplay is again co-op for 4 people. Yes, of course, you can play solo with three bots in a trailer, but this, as they say, is not a cake at all.
In theory, the atmosphere of the game is conducive to horror, suspense, and quiet passage of dangerous areas, but, in fact, passing scenarios together results in the most dynamic mowing down of all the living, still or already dead.
A variety of cards, a considerable number of trunks and the ability to play cards with several friends make the game an excellent option for while away a few evenings.

Основа геймплея — снова кооператив на 4 человека. Да, конечно, можно играть и соло с тремя ботами в прицепе, но это, как говорится, совсем "не торт".
По идее, атмосфера игры располагает к хорору, саспенсу, тихому прохождению опасных участков, но, на деле, совместное прохождение сценариев выливается в максимально динамичное выкашивание всех живых, еще или уже, мертвецов.
Разнообразные карты, немалое количество стволов и возможность отыгрывать карты с несколькими друзьями, делают игру отличным вариантом для того, что бы скоротать несколько вечеров.
I remember the first time I encountered this game. There was nothing to play and then a friend on Skype began to squeal, and when I calmed him down, he told me that Left 4 Dead 2 was being given away for free. We were very happy about this, because it was a freebie! Downloaded, installed and launched. And here I was plunged into a post-apocalyptic world with a lot of zombies, weapons and uncontrollable fun.
Plot:
Not very impressed, a new virus called “Green Flu” has appeared and everyone around is starting to turn into zombies, but there are a few lucky people who are immune to this virus. These lucky ones (or maybe unlucky ones, depending on how you look at them) will have to save their asses in a changed world, which is now full of hordes of the infected.

Помню как впервые познакомился с этой игрой. Играть было не во что и тут друг в скайпе начинает верещать, а когда я его успокоил, он сообщил мне, что Left 4 Dead 2 раздается бесплатно. Мы этому были очень рады, потому что халява! Скачал, установил и запустил. И вот тут я погрузился в постапокалиптический мир с кучей зомби, оружия и неудержимого веселья.
Сюжет:
Не очень впечатлил, появился новый вирус под названием "Зелёный грипп" и все вокруг начинают превращаться в зомби, но есть единицы счастливчиков, которые имеют иммунитет к этому вирусу. Вот этим счастливчикам (а может и неудачникам, это как посмотреть) предстоит спасать свои задницы в изменившемся мире, который теперь полон орд заражённых.

Hmm-hmm.......
So, where to start? Well, first of all, this is an immortal classic from Uncle Gaben's studio. And secondly, the game has no downsides.
Pros:
1. The atmosphere is great
2. The soundtrack is dark and creeps me out while playing
3. The campaigns, they are long, dark and good
4. Characters. They are constantly chatting about something, this is noticed during the first campaign “Dead Center”
5. Special and unusual infected, there are much more of them.

Так, с чего бы начать? Ну во первых это бессмертная классика от студии дяди Габена. А во вторых, у игры нет минусов.
Плюсы:
1. Атмосфера отличная
2. Саундтрек мрачный и нагоняет для меня жути во время игры
3. Кампании, они долгие, мрачные и хорошие
4. Персонажи. Они постоянно болтают о чём либо, это замечается во время первой кампании "Мертвый Центр"
5. Особые и необычные заражённые, их стало куда побольше.
Оценка для олдфага — 10/10
A very interesting cooperative game in the shooter, horror genre, unlike the first part, melee weapons appeared, the graphics improved, but the game remained just as interesting with crowds of zombies. I wouldn’t recommend buying on a console because there is no auto-aim and the game becomes much more difficult, but if you get used to it it’s fine, otherwise the game is great.
Очень интересная кооперативная игра в жанре шутер, хоррор в отличие от первой части появилось оружие ближнего боя я улучшилась графика, но игра осталась такой же интересной с толпами зомби. Не советовал бы покупать на консоли ведь там нет автоприцеливания и играть становиться на порядок сложнее, но если привыкнуть то нормально, а так игра класс.
