Not enough funds to throw the ring at Mount Doom
Among the bunch of Korean MMORPGs, among all the weird and free stuff, I came across LOTRO. Having subscribed for a month, I plunged into the world of Middle-earth.
I was pleasantly surprised by the good localization, excellent plot and interesting quests. But the best memories remain from RP servers, atmospheric dungeons and growing tobacco in the Shire. Having a subscription drove away schoolchildren and “trolls” and it was incredibly pleasant to explore this world.

Недостаточно средств для броска кольца в Роковую Гору
Среди кучи корейских ММОРПГ, среди всего это странного и бесплатного, я наткнулся на LOTRO. Подключив себе подписку на месяц я окунулся в мир Средиземья.
Я был приятно удивлен хорошей локализацией, отличным сюжетом и интересными квестами. Но самые хорошие воспоминания остались от РП серверов, атмосферных подземелий и выращивания табака в Шире. Наличие подписки отгоняло школьников и "троллей" и было безумно приятно изучать это мир.
Но в один момент все кончилось, российские сервера были закрыты, а игра перешла на Free-to-play модель. Старому комьюнити не осталось места среди наплыва бездумных игроков. Все новые данжы подняли в цене, а наличие в прошлом подписки ничего не дало.
